Brief:
book is called The Veilstone. I don’t have a super clear vision of what I think the cover should look like, but I imagine my main character, who is a 24 year old woman named Elara, would be on the cover. The book is about Celestial magic, and she develops dark power, so when I envision it, I imagine one of her hands is holding the Veilstone (which I have also used AI to help with what it looks like), and I imagine her other hand being held with her palm facing upward, and dark shadows coming out of it! She wears a sapphire ring, which I will send an image of too! She has a tattoo on her foot, but it doesn’t have to be in the cover at all.
And I just imaged the background being whatever fits best, any celestial accents are cool!
there’s also a big part where she cuts her hand on the stone and blood drips from her hand, but the blood is black and starry, as though there’s midnight captured inside of it, and if that could be worked in, that would be really awesome!
open to any ideas you have as well! i want the cover to be sophisticated, so whatever you think will look best! even if it’s only half of her face and one hand - it’s whatever you think will genuinely work best as an artist! Thank you so much!
